Hello and thank you for checking out my auction for the 1/100 scale Real Type MS-06 Zaku model kit from Bandai of Japan.   This is part of the 1/100 scale Real Type collection of model kits from Mobile Suit Gundam released in the early 1980s, based on the illustrations mecha designer Kunio Okawara created for the posters of the Gundam movie trilogy.

This kit was originally released in during the early 1980s.  It is cast from the same mold as the vintage 1/100 scale Zaku, except for the colors the parts were molded in.  This kit also features its own packaging (box and instructions), and the addition of a decal sheet for all the military markings that adorn the mecha.  Besides the standard Real Type color scheme based on Kunio Okawara’s design, you are also free to get creative and come up with your own color schemes.  Some samples shown on the side panel of the box include camouflage and desert types.

Since this kit was designed in the early 1980s, cement and painting is required to properly complete this model.  There is articulation at the major joints, but do not expect Master Grade level of poseability (although the model is in the same scale/size as the MG models).  Accessories include the standard issue Zaku machine gun, bazooka and heat hawk which can be carrried on the side skirt armor or held in hand for combat.

Kit is brand new unbuilt in a tape sealed box.  Box shows considerable/extensive shelf wear including crease marks and surface wear, please refer to the enclosed photos of the actual box.  This kit hasn’t been reissued in years and is most likely being phased out with the MG version.  Add it to your collection today!  This vintage Gundam kit will be shipped to you from a non-smoking residence..

Hello and thank you for checking out my auction for the 1/60 scale Production Model Gelgoog model kit from Mobile Suit Gundam, released by Bandai of Japan during the early 1980s. 

This is the MS-14A mass produced version of the Gelgoog that went into production shortly before the end of the One Year War.  Char piloted a prototype unit while it was being fine-tuned in the field, this was basically Zeon’s answer to the high performance, high firepower Gundam, too bad it was a bit too little too late to turn the tide of war.

This is 1 of the only 4 old school Mobile Suit Gundam models to be released in 1/60 scale (the other 3 were Gundam, Zaku (with color variants) and Dom), the same scale as the Perfect Grade (PG) Gundam kits.  The completed model should stand slighty over 12″ / 32cm tall.  Since this kit was designed in the early 1980s, cement and painting is required.  The major joints are articulated with an early version of polycap to prevent the joints from wearing out from repeated posing.

Other features of this kit include:

- Kit is designed to accommodate a battery powered LED (sold separately) to simulate the Gelgoog’s light-up monoeye.  The monoeye unit rotates sideways inside the head via a notch hidden under the back of the head, and the battery casing is hidden inside the upper torso, which can be accessible by separating the upper and lower torso parts by rotating the upper torso to release the locking mechanism.  Kit includes metal parts for the battery compartment, the only thing you need to add is the lightbulb/LED and its attached wires

- includes a figure of Zeon pilot in normal suit

- accessories include a beam rifle and the beam naginata

- optional commander’s antenna

While the details and articulation of this old school model are nowhere close to the level of modern (late 1980s or newer) Gundam kits, you can’t beat the sheer presence of it when it is properly painted and completed.  It is also one of the few 1/60 scale Gelgoogs ever produced by Bandai, as the company never released it in the PG or Glorious Series line, although it might be interesting to try and kitbash this kit with a PG Zaku or GS Gouf/Dom…

Kit is brand new unbuilt and all the parts are still factory sealed in plastic bags.  This is a 1996 reissue, so the box and manual are still in fairly new condition (no yellowing).  There is some crease marks on the box, please see the enclosed photos – most of them appear on the left edge on the top and on the side panels.  This kit hasn’t been reissued for a while, don’t miss your chance to add it to your collection!  tem will be sent to you from a non-smoking residence, where it has remained since I bought it several years ago.

Hello and thank you for checking out my auction for the MG Gundam Mk-II Titans version model kit.  This kit was released in 1998 by Bandai of Japan and has been replaced by the more pricy Ver 2.0 edition which I think suffered a huge hit on design aesthetics due to the compromises made to its proportions and curves in order to achieve a wider range of articulation at the joints.

The Titans version is painted in the rollout colors of the Gundam Mk-II, which was built for the Earth Federation’s Titans faction, an elite organization bent on eliminating all spacenoid threats,  They appeared in the first episodes of Zeta Gundam, and the captured units were later repainted white when they were being put into service by the AEUG, formed by a ragtag of former Earth Federation officers and Zeon sympathizers who did not approve of the Titans’ methods. 

Like all MG Gundam kits, this is a snap-fit kit with most of the parts already pre-molded in the correct colors, with stickers and decals that round out the details you’d otherwise have to paint.  This is sort of a watershed kit in the Master Grade line, as it was the first MG Gundam kit to introduce the “Movable Frame” design – basically an articulated skeletal frame upon which removable armor can be attached on to assemble the final mecha.  The design proved to be extremely popular and pretty much became a standard feature in nearly every MG kit released since then.

Below is a list of this model kit’s features:

- Head camera and eyes are molded in clear plastic so you can paint your own translucent effects and/or install tiny LEDs behind them  to reproduce the “light up action” seen in the anime (this is an option for advanced builders and involves using aftermarket parts; pre-printed stickers are included if you don’t feel like putting that much effort into the head camera and eyes)

- Opening cockpit hatch reveals cockpit interiors and seated pilot inside

- Articulated rack on the rear skirt armor can flip into position to act as the bazooka mount

- A rich assortment of alternative hands

- Removable bazooka magazine can be mounted on the side skirt armor

- Beam rifle features removable energy capsule (e-cap)

- Hydraulic mechanism at the ankle springs into action when the feet is articulated

- Detailed reproduction of the Gundam Mk-II’s exclusive head Vulcan Pod module, it can be attached or removed easily like a headset

- Shield can retract or extend to combat mode.  The beam rifle’s e-caps can also be stored on its interior

- Leg armor pieces are removable to reveal the detailed mechanical details underneath.  The armor pieces attach to polycapped pegholes so the pegs will not wear out and become loose

- Movable Frame desgin allows for easy removal of armor pieces to display the mechanical details hidden underneath

- A rich assortment of weapons include a Bazooka (with removable/extra magazine), shield, beam rifle (with removable/extra e-cap), and beam sabers

- Decals include markings for all 3 Titans Mk-II prototypes so you can built them as Unit 01, 02, or 03

- Textured wire included with kit for that added touch of realism when you use them for the joint cables

Kit is recommended for ages 15 and over.  This kit is brand new unbuilt with all parts still sealed in factory original plastic bags.  Box has some storage wear on the surface, including crease marks on the left and right side panels.  This is a 1998 original issue kit.  I bought it upon release and will be sending it to you from a non-smoking residence.
